Ballistic Chart

The chart presented above illustrates the penetration depths of various projectiles, highlighting the highest energy transfer by analyzing both the deepest penetration and the widest wound channel. Each projectile test is represented on the chart, with its penetration depth expressed as a percentage relative to how far it penetrated into the block. The tests are color-coded according to the percentage of penetration depth and the maximum width of the wound channel, indicating the level of energy transfer. The test demonstrating the greatest energy transfer is marked in the brightest red. It is important to note that the highest energy transfer does not always correspond to the deepest penetration.
